Amine Firouchane Shines at the London Marathon

The London Marathon once again brought thousands of runners to the streets of the capital today, and among them was a remarkable first-time participant, Amine Firouchane.

Representing the spirit of resilience and determination, Anime completed his first-ever marathon with an outstanding time of 3 hours and 9 minutes. His performance drew praise from onlookers and supporters, including the team at Equal Play Sports, who were proud to meet him on the day.

“Amine’s story is a brilliant example of how sport can empower individuals and create positive change,” said a spokesperson for Equal Play Sports. “He showed incredible dedication and heart throughout the race, and we’re proud to celebrate his achievement.”

Anime’s journey reflects the values at the core of Equal Play’s mission – inclusivity, empowerment, and opportunity for all. As a charity-run academy focused on breaking down barriers in sport, Equal Play continues to champion individuals like Anime who use sport as a pathway to growth and wellbeing.

Equal Play Sports extends its congratulations to Amine and to all the participants of the 2025 London Marathon. We look forward to following his journey and supporting more athletes as they reach their goals.
